Im thinking about putting a nismo CAI intake, a 5/16 plenium spacer, and a stillen true dual exhaust on my 06 Z before summer although i think i pretty much know the answer to this question i was wondering with gas prices being what they are and all do you think that would rais or lower my gas milage? Im not putting bigger injectors in or anything like that so i dont really think it would lower it but does anyone know this for sure? Also does anyone have these mods on there Z or any idea on how much more power this would give me?

Last year i had the pop charger intake and the invidia cat back that i still have. Over winter i added a bigger plenum, CAI, and throttle body spacer. I have noticed significant increases in throttle response, a little HP is about what you would expect, but most of all the MPG has went way up. Now i am not one to watch my MPG gauge but i have noticed when i go out cruising (driving fast and like an a$$hole) my needle barely moves. The other night i went out for an hour, ran an SER spec-V, a prelude, and a G35, plus played with the sentra i ran for most of the time i was driving around and went from one side of town to the other then back, and only used 1/8 a tank!!!!

Thats great, pretty much what i thought they would do but just wanted to check. How do your mods make the Z sound? Is it a lot differnet? More agressive?

Definitely more agressive. Deep tone comes from under the hood, and a whistle from the intake from about 2500-4000 RPMs until the rest of the engine and exhaust sounds drown it out.
