i ordered megan coils the supplier cant find the street version he offered me the track coils and he will send the street springs when he finds them should i do it???? oo and yea its sort of a daily driver

how bad is the ride with coils that stiff tho??

ive ridden a friends daily that was practically slammed on mr tracks, its all a matter of preference. i had absolutely no issue with the ride being "too stiff," but others have.

some say no and some say go. youre not going to find anyone who can tell you what you should think/feel, just get them - especially if he is offering the street springs at no charge when they come in.

I don't know too much on megan coilovers, but aren't they valved according to their spring rates? IIRC, Megan tracks are a 12/10 (or something close to that stiffness) [kgs f:r respectively]... toss on softer springs like an 8/6 and you may or may not blow the shocks.

btw, lemme just say, a 10/8 or 12/10 kgs spring rate is SUPER stiff on a 240. It'll get annoying after awhile, esp on the streets and highways. Add that thought to megan's poorly valved shocks, and you got a stiff AND bouncy ride
