Im looking at some wheels I can get for cheap. Their 17's and will the width of 9" (17x9) fit on a 93 Q45? Just want to make sure...

What are they?

What's the offset?

17x9 would be NICE if they'll handle the Q's weight (and if you can mount 245/45/17's on a 9" width successfully... (?). Any wider tire would have to be a lower profile to maintain stock diameter.

Does anybody make a 40-series 17" tire?

The wheels are some spoke rims and the tires are 245-45-17 and have a universal offset. Yes I got your email, but we just got lots of stuff replaced and probally wont need it for awhile, somone else might though...

Spoke rims? You mean like Daytons? What brand? Need to know all that to decide if they're strong enough. Otherwise, you're just throwing $$$ away.

There's no such thing as "universal offset". You need to know what the offset is to see if they will stick out too far (goofy) or if they will hit suspension bits once mounted.
