well since I'm away from my personal computer where my FSM resides I can't really help you on the specific specs on what the readings should come back as when testing it.

However, what you usualy do is unplug it (engine off) there usually 2 prongs where you test leads from to get a resistance reading in Ohms. If its within Factory spec you move on to the next step.

Blow some carb cleaner on where it attaches to the manifold (read, gasket area) if the Idle rises then you have a bad gasket.

Take off the feed hose, and blow some carb cleaner in there as well to make sure its not plugging up.

thats as much as I can help from work.

Good luck

im running my rb just fine w/o the iacv due to the broken connector it came with. But Im in the process of finding a replacement for it of course. You shouldnt have any problem driving around w/o it at all.

Start up is ****ty ill give you that. Big difference i see with the iacv was the start up issue and that was mainly all. after about a minute of warm up w/o the iacv the idle should be fine. If your idle is a bit rough you can adjust your throttle cable by pulling the throttle back a bit to smooth out the idle.

Thats my solution for now until i get a new iacv. hope this helps
