I just now bought me a new exhaust system, but everyone says I need headers!!! So my exhaust will run better..... but later on I plan on turboing it!! so should I just go ahead and get headers

I'm assuming you got a 'Cat-Back' system that starts behind your catalytic converter and goes all the way back.You will notice a bit more upper RPM power with just that. The header will open it up even more, but there is no need for the header if you plan on going turbo later on. Or, if you really want to get a header, buy a used one in the classifieds or wherever you can find one.

I agree. Don't waste your money on a header if your going turbo later. The gains aren't enough to make the time spent worth it. If you ran across one for like $20 or so then I say go ahead if you really wanted to, but I would wait and put all my cash in my turbo system.

^ +3 a header will give you 10 hp and a turbo will give you 100+hp
