I have an 89 240sx and wanted to know if the front part of the doghouse comes off for easier engine removal\installation, or if it is seemed

never heard dog house before but im assuming you mean the rad core support. its spot welded on. i had no problems removing the sohc and installing the sr in my 89 hatch. its a close fit but at the right angle it comes out/ goes in pretty easy.
