225/45/17 or 235/40/17's.

Thats a really vague question considering people stretch 215's on 10j's.

265 or 275 40 17 could theoritically fit, but its gonna be too tall. if you want a nice fitting, oem diameter, go with a 235 or 245 40 17. lots of options. they are still gonna be little tall, but will work.

These vague fitment threads are really pointless. The widest tire that can possibly fit on a wheel is very rarely going to be the ideal fitment for your application (aside from drag applications).

With that being said, you need to provide us with more information to get the ideal size for your car. Im assuming these are going on your '91 s13, and Im assuming you will be running a 17x9 +20 all the way around. For that particular setup, I would run a 235/40/17. People have done it time and time again, and it provides a mild stretch to help clear fenders but at the same time remains reasonable to mount, daily drive on, and look somewhat normal.

Next time post the application and wheel size and offsets or our responses arent going to be relevant.

I didnt know the offset made a difference. Its +15. And i didnt want the widest possible i wanted the widest thats still most functional. I wanted to be around 225-235.

With that being said: 235/40 or a 245/40. Depending on lowering and stuff.
