Hey i have a quick question, my stock t25 has some pretty bad shaft play and the seals are starting to go on it now. I wanted to eventually upgrade to a 2871r but i don't have my supporting mods yet. Can i run the 2871r on low enough boost to not need any support mods for now? I would rather not replace it with another stock turbo.

Not yet thats why i asked. Ive been trying to get it running good before i picked up a front mount. I don't plan to turn the boost up until i get a front mount but for now i need a turbo.

If I were you I would just spend a few hundred bucks on a s14 t28 and save till you have all of the parts for the new turbo system . It would kinda suck to have this nice new turbo and cant even use it.
