yes keep it at least 12" away. The further the better.

well here is my problem, i removed my blow thru maf setup and went to the pull thru and now it runs like crap when i have the a map loaded for my 750cc injectors, for it to run right i have to load a map for 550cc injectors while i'm actually running the 750s and i tried to move the maf farther away but still get the same problem. what else could cause this

I'd like pics of the blow through? Why didn't you like it?

cause when i had the blow thru setup i got a maf sensor jb welded to a 2.5 inch pipe cause the actual housing on the original maf exploded(20psi on a t3t04e 60 trim)so, with it on the smaller pipe it felt like it would fall on its face up top in the rpm range and sometimes would bog between shifts.

I assume the maps in question were set with the system set up to blow through the MAF. With you now drawing through it you will need to redo them. The MAF measures air by keeping the wire heated to a set temperature and the voltage required to do that is the system of measurement. Air under boost, hot and screaming past the wire at 20PSI does not behave the same way that cooler, denser ambient air being sucked into the MAF would. The computer attributes each step of voltage as a certain amount of air and fuels accordingly, it has no way of knowing that the voltage in question now equals a different volume of air so it is not fueling correctly. Luckily you have a map that is in the ballpark to start from because you will have to build a new one for this new arrangement.

see thats waht i was thinking so i made a new map with just the stock values besides the 750cc and the z32 maf and it was still acting the same. Hmmmmmm......

What are you working with, an E-manage?

I have no experience with those, sorry. I know with the E-manage when you change the injector size it just changes the map values to compensate the larger injectors flow to a stock engine to get you in the ballpark. The values are the values irrespective of the injector size, it is just a helper function. Is the unit you use similar? If the values still mean the same thing, ie "12" with 550s set is still a "12" duty cycle with the 750s set then I would set the 750s in and then change all the values to the 550s map manually and start from there.
