So i was using a sorta fishey injector "CC" conversion chart, where it showed how to find out how much hp each stock RB25 Injector was good for, and so it was 370cc/5=74hp per injector. and then i multiplied 74hp by 6 and got 444hp.. is that truly the maximum hp the stock RB25 injectors are good for, or did the guy who made the chart mess up in his little conversions, and is 300 hp a safe hp for the Stock Injectors? Thanks alot.. this has been bugging me.. and i will eventually upgrade to top feed with a fuel rail (prolly RX7 injectors) but for right now its not necessary when i get the engine going... Once again thanks.

on a 6 cylinder engine a good rule of thumb is the injectors will support a little lower HP as CC at 100% duty

370cc around 330hp444cc around 400hp

ok thanks alot i had a feeling it would be a lot less, since its not good to max out your injectors, but thanks, so around 300 is still a safe hp for it? at maybe 11psi?

to be safe you're never supposed to run the injectors above 85-90% duty cycle. i think factory set ups run up to 85% duty cycle max? 100% duty cycle means the injector is always open, and a constant 12v is applied to it. in extreme cases i think it can lead to solenoid damage and sticking of the solenoid.

so is 300hp capable and safe at say 90% duty cycle? i did a calc, of the max hp output the stock injectors could put out maxed out which was like 320 and found that 90% of 320 is like 290, so thats not quite 300, but it should be fine until i upgrade injectors, 10hp isnt going to really make a big diff to me... LOL..

(BTW, that is how i would convert the percentage of duty cycle to find out what max "Safe" HP is? correct? Or should i have used a different calculation, i was just doing basic percentages..)

Edit: Also, i believe that with the Proper dyno tuning and all, 290 might be the max safe HP for the injectors, but a lil tuning would prolly make it breach the 300 mark..) Maybe even a Power FC tuning if i can make some extra money after i get the swap done.

by increasing your fuel pressure you can squeeze a little more HP out of the stock injectors

Can i get a mod to change the Title to something a little more relevant? Cause i dont think someone with this question would search up what i named the title, and sorry for naming it that... and if someone in the future was looking for this question like i was, it would save them a flame fest, and thank you all for not flaming me. i got what i wanted to hear.

The stock injectors actually flow more than 370, same as the SR injectors. They usually flow 400-410cc. Mine were 410 across all 6 when I had Deatschwerks service and flow them.

That was the static flow which is 100% duty cycle. I wouldnt run them above 90% personally.
