I've got all the mount bolts, block bolts, hoses, and other crap disconnected. Its still on there pretty firm, even use engine diagram to make sure I wasn't missing anything. This is an old engine, you think that gasket is that strong?

Break the gasket? Laservision?

Thanks =)

it's aluminum on aluminum. aluminum has this obnoxious tendency to fuse itself to things when it's been heated up. Just keep trying to knock it off with a hammer. More than likely, the bolt holes for the studs have just gotten too cozy with the studs. A few good taps should loosen it. You may also want to try a pry bar too. Just be careful not to break or bend anything.
