Hi , I pick up my Rogue on Thursday and was wondering if you get two keys. If not how much does the dealer charge for an extra key

thanks

I thought I should also, but you never know. It does not mention 2 keys on the web site. Other manufactures state it on there sites.

Thanks for answering my question.

I bought my Rogue used from a Lexus dealer and it only came with one key. They gave me an "IOU" slip for an extra key. I took it into the Nissan dealer and got the full intellikey for about $360.

It comes with 2 keys but I got a 3rd one for $50. It was the price I negotiated with them prior to picking up the car

You must lose a lot of keys if you need 3 of them! With the intelligent key it stays in my pocket so chances of losing it is slim to none.

We have 2 drivers and I always prefer to have a 3rd spare lying around.

The intellikey itself is not very expensive... less than $100 US. It's the fact that you can only buy them and have them programmed by a Nissan dealer. This is done for security reasons... you don't want a smart thief to simply reprogram your intellikey and steal your vehicle.

BTW, the standard keyless entry fob (non-intellikey) can be programmed yourself. I will have to post an FAQ on this when I get a chance.
