Quick question please read

Dont flame me please I just wanna know the difference between fiber glass hood and carbon fiber hood, I need to get a new hood and I happen to come across fiber glass hood. I know what carbon fiber is but whats fiber glass??? is it heavier then fiber glass but lighter then stock? is it strong? please someone help :help

Fiberglass is heavier than CF, but lighter than stock. It tends to crack/shatter when in an accident, definitely not as strong as CF or stock.

Not everyone knows or wants to work with real CF. Some of the cheapo carbon hoods actually only have a surface layer of CF epoxied onto fiberglass. Don't be fooled.
