Quick question on: Emergency Brake & Vehicle Speed Sensor Override

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I want to say, this is an Excellent guide. Kudos to Dividedhighw!!!

I just have one question. At the beginning where we turn on the vehicle, apply e-brake and set shifter to D, do we turn off the car right after or do we leave the car on during the whole install?

(From reading it, I'm assuming we're leaving the car on, but I just wanted to make sure so I don't short anything in the process)

Thanks in advanced!

Thanks, but the bulk of the work, pics, etc, was done by Zozo.

Please know that I have not yet done this mod, although I intend to at some point. That said, I would definitely turn off the vehicle before proceeding with the install, rather than chance all the electrical being live the whole time.

Perhaps Zozo can comment?

BTW, welcome to our group, nizmister!

Cheers,David

Thanks Dave for the email.

. Without your foot on thebrake push the start button once. This will turn on the ac power for the car. Next apply the ebrake all the way to the floor then step your foot on the brake and move your shifter to D(drive) positon. (just a reminder dont release the e-brake untill you have putted the shift back into P(park) positon)After this you turn off the car. As you thought too. Sorry about the little misunderstanding.

Any question feel free to drop me a line. I try to answer as soon as I can.

Zozo
