Quick question on AC compressor clutch

I have a z32 with no working a/c, but I've been given a compressor out of a z31... Is the clutch on those interchangeable? I don't yet know for sure if mine is bad, but back when it was working, it squealed pretty badly until it blew, and I want to try to be prepared...
