Quick question, need name of metal coating

What's the name of that orange colored goopy stuff they used to use to coat untreated steel and iron with so it would resist rusting on the shelf?

It ends in -line or something like that...

Edit: Anyone know of a good corrosion inhibitor that will work on aluminum as well as black oxide moving parts and is not paint?

I coat surfaces with regular grease if they are stored for extended periods. Toda was pissed when they received that CA18 block coated with bearing grease.

This is not for storage purposes, this is going to be used on a pivot joint made of a cast aluminum friction surface and a black oxide ball that will see weather and wind.
