quick question, my check engine light

it doesnt come on i dont think this is my exhuast manifold or what was left of it, it broke off just above my cat while i was driving (scared the s*** out of me) and the light didnt come on, i was just wondering is that weird that my light didnt come on.

maybe the bulb blew. did you try hooking up a code reader to it?

What code would be thrown for a big exhaust leak? I dont think any....

If you wanna check the function of your CEL, pull your MAF connector off, when I pul mine off to clean it throws a code for 20 miles or so after I clean it then goes away.

Your CEL should also illuminate when you start the car briefly, to verify the bulb works
