So my friend just got a g37 vlsd from his friend and now wondering if his 6mt g35 vlsd would fit on my 2007 m45 sport, Does anyone know if it would just bolt on, plug and play.

I don't think so, there was a member on here, Ken in AZ (you could try searching his posts), who did this--I remember he had pics showing the comparo and there was a slight difference in parts.

I'm pretty sure another member on the forum has done it as well.

gl if you try to tackle it, plus post pics so it can be posted in the DIY section!

yeah i found the post, thanks bro, but im not gonna do it anymore. Did some research and found that the g35 vlsd doesnt fit because its smaller inside the transfer case, and the m45 axles are thicker than the m35's or g35's so it wouldnt fit at all. the g37s are direct bolt on except you would have to swap out the flanges. Im just gonna buy some true lsd and gut the insides of my stock and rebuild it.

I did my M45 a month or so ago: 2008 G pumpkin + rear axles. Voila! That is all you need.

I added a 4.083 FD for good measure. Yahooooooooooo!
