quick question guys ?

Hey guys I recently swapped my ca w/ megasquirt into a 93 s13 from a 90 s13. I got everything in and started but, when i turn the key back and take it out of the ignition the car still runs. I know this isnt much of a CA problem but I was wondering what you guys think. Im stumped on this one. Anything help is appreciated. thanks

probably need more info, but does it keep running like its idling, or does it kinda sputter for a while, then die?

no it keeps running like i didnt even touch the key. All the dash lights were still on.

Could be your wiring, if its not the ignition switch, maybe the ecm is getting power somehow even after the key is switched off. Like its constantly getting power or something. Did it do this before the megasquirt setup? Maybe some of the more advanced members can chime in.

na its never done this before. It didnt do anything like this in the other car. I simply switched everything over using the same MS harness. Im not much of a electrical genius so just seeing if anyone has heard of this before and why its happening.

Sound like a turbo timer to me.Is the car relatively new, as in maybe the previous owner had a turbo timer installed.

If the dash lights are staying on, it's the ignition switch. It could be a turbo timer, but you'd think you'd know if you had a turbo timer installed.

I got the car from a freind, I think he would tell me if there was one on there. Ill check it tommorow.
