Quick question for anyone that is knoladgable, and knows their s13's

Hi , I am currently building up my 93 240 and i ran across a couple of questions that i know the guys at nico could answer. There is an ecu under the center divider, but i cant figure out what it is. i assume it has somthing to do with the inside of the car but i would like to know what exactly does it control and can the car be run w/o it(i did search, but w/o the name of the component its kinda useless).

The ECU is located in the kick panel of the passenger seat.

I'm pretty sure that's the automatic seat belts - to verify, you can unplug it and open/close your door. Your car can run w/o it.

I know, there is another one under the center divider. its not as important as the one located at the passanger kick plate but is an ecu of some sort.

i removed my autobelts which would make it hard to check. i hope it's for the belts, that way i can take it out as well. but i think it controls more than the belts, theres alot of wires coming out of it.

nope, that box is just the belts.I've got mine laying on my floor behind me as i type this.

btw, if you download the FSM, it's in the diagram for the body harness connectors, is marked as solely a seatbelt controller, and shows the full pinouts for it.
