quick question for all you ma and vt people

well i have to head up to rutland, vt tomorrow for my buddy's wedding. i could have caught a ride with my roomie today, but i couldn't get the day off from work. so now my two options are to drive the truck and deal with the fuel consumption, or take the 240 with the exhaust, dark tints, and better fuel economy. will the staties and local pd hassle me at all driving my car, or should i just take the truck with the extra fuels costs to avoid a garbage ticket?

i ended up taking the 240. i made it our last long ride before i took it off the moving insurance for the winter. she didn't do too bad either, i was calculating 31mpg. that made me happy.
