When I put the wheels on the car.. do I tell the guy the offset or does he decide or how does it work? I don't want to cause any damamge to my car bc i have to much or too little offset (if that can even happen....)

You can use spacers to move the wheel out some. Other then that there not much you can do once the rim is already made...This is why ordering wheels that fit the car correctly is a good idea

its cool, its obvious this tire/wheel stuff is new to you... no problem we all had to start somewhere, and we are ALL still learning, no need to laugh at anyone!

Offset is a part of the wheel, it doesn't change. When the wheel is built, its determined where the mounting point is in relation to the imaginary center line of the wheel. Our stock wheels have +45 offsets, so hopefully your wheel is close to that... if it isn't, unfortunately, that can't be changed.. as mentioned, if you have a high offset wheel, spacers could essentially "lower" your offset by causing your wheel to stick out from the hub more!

Thanks rob.

I got hte ADR propulsions with a 45 offset like it should be. But what I want to know is this: I saw adidas2go's picture of the drop and I didn't like how the wheels were a little too far in.. I'd rather they came out a little more to give it a better looking fit (in my opinion) So if I get spacers.. will that damage anything by putting more stress on any parts or anything? And if I drop I assume with 18's I shouldn't have a problem with rubbing.. 225/45/18

those r good questions... no, you shouldn't have a problem at all with the drop... Since you got the +45 offset, your 225 tire will make your tire stick out 5mm more than stock, you could get another 5mm spacer off of ebay... that small of a spacer isn't that bad on your lugs, so you shouldn't have a problem at all!

Hey guys quick question, I want to get the eibach pro-kit. Will it work with 20x8.5 42mm offset wheels? What tire size should i get. They just don't make them smaller than 20". Giovanna black dalar check em out.
