Be carefull with the cheap ebay stuff. I have not used the one you are buying but I used the XTD. Not worth it. The ACT I have on my RB25 was 10 times better than the XTD witch only saved me a little cash. Your list of Mods looks good untill you do the cheap clutch. Just remember you get what you pay for, it took me more than once to learn that. Here is a link to my review of cheap clutchs. But that is a differant clutch so who knows. Oh and others even had good luck with the XTD but not me. zerothread?id=115673 Good luck and hope if you get the ebay clutch it works out good.

Oh and for your question you use the 300z non turbo clutch.

Thats the exact clutch I used, same company to. Just make sure its the correct parts when you get it. I remember someone getting the wronge stuff (turbo plate) but they fixed it. The throw out bearing was thicker than my 20 and I think that wass some of the problem but I changed it out for a RB20 bearing and it was still the same. like I said others have had good luck with it so hope you do as well. I said screw and installed a 26 with a Ogura super single, no more clutch probs for me. When you install it you should post yoru review of it to help others in the future.

that F1 clutch was for the 83-89 Z. the Z31.

im pretty sure you can ONLY use the Z32 NA clutch.

for the rb25 you need the z32 non-turbo clutch. Also don't waste your money on a cheapo ebay clutch.

spare me, that cheapo ebay clutch (xtd) is holding 400whp on my car just fine.

But would that hold true for all ebay clutches? the ad says it will hold 300 crank HP while the xtd ad says 560hp. Both are stage 3.

I believe the HP (should be TQ) rating refers to holding power, not the abuse it can withstand. I've broken an ACT clutch too but it's due to the way I drove.

huh? so have i bought the 100% direct fitment clutch now or not ?? besides whether its good or bad... i guess it depends on proper installation and driving style, but from things i read about it, it should be ok...

and this "chepo" ebay stuff, is great!! because NO1 can go wrong with spending the rediculus amount of 150 bucks on a "good & strong" clutch...

if that fails, i can always change it to my twins ORC

I just know that some of those ebay clutches are hit and miss. I've had good luck with the brand Competition Clutch. An extra $100 or so is worth it to me not to have to drop the transmission any time soon.

Yes you got the right one. But if you would have got the F1 83-89, it would have been wrong. I just noticed that when lucky7 metioned it. Good thing you made this post. Oh and if you have the ORC twin plate why wast the time with the Ebay stuff??? Yes you can change it but it gets old taking the stuff aprt all the time.

i would like to try one of these "chepo" clutches, because my ORC has only around 1/2 years life on it, and i will have to get new discs which will cost me around 500 bucks (!!!!!!!) - ****ers ...

therefore if i hit the correct clutch, it should last at least a year or so...
