spare me, that cheapo ebay clutch (xtd) is holding 400whp on my car just fine.ehacker01 wrote:for the rb25 you need the z32 non-turbo clutch. Also don't waste your money on a cheapo ebay clutch.
But would that hold true for all ebay clutches? the ad says it will hold 300 crank HP while the xtd ad says 560hp. Both are stage 3.Carl H wrote:spare me, that cheapo ebay clutch (xtd) is holding 400whp on my car just fine.
huh? so have i bought the 100% direct fitment clutch now or not ?? besides whether its good or bad... i guess it depends on proper installation and driving style, but from things i read about it, it should be ok...s13_rb25det wrote:hi .... thx for the info...

I just know that some of those ebay clutches are hit and miss. I've had good luck with the brand Competition Clutch. An extra $100 or so is worth it to me not to have to drop the transmission any time soon.Carl H wrote:spare me, that cheapo ebay clutch (xtd) is holding 400whp on my car just fine.
Yes you got the right one. But if you would have got the F1 83-89, it would have been wrong. I just noticed that when lucky7 metioned it. Good thing you made this post. Oh and if you have the ORC twin plate why wast the time with the Ebay stuff??? Yes you can change it but it gets old taking the stuff aprt all the time.s13_rb25det wrote:huh? so have i bought the 100% direct fitment clutch now or not ?? besides whether its good or bad... i guess it depends on proper installation and driving style, but from things i read about it, it should be ok...
and this "chepo" ebay stuff, is great!! because NO1 can go wrong with spending the rediculus amount of 150 bucks on a "good & strong" clutch...
if that fails, i can always change it to my twins ORC
