quick question about timing

first off this is for a rb20, and i already tried the rb forum with no luck, both questions should be quick and easy to answer, so please dont flame me

it says i have to unplug the tps sensor before i do it, but the tps sensor has 2 plugs so which plug am i supposed to unplug? the upper or lower one?



there are 7 marks on the crank pulley, the farthest on the left is orangey white, the other 6 are white.

is the far left mark (orangey white) the 0* mark?

and i presume it goes in 5* incroments from left to right? (0* 5* 10* 15* 20* 25* 30*) is that correct?

i know you unplug the lower one for sure. i think your right about the markings form what ive read. to make sure about the marks pull your vavle cover off and crank the engine over till the pin is hitting the first mark and show us where the mark on the cam gear is pointing at that point.
