So im starting to piece together parts for a turbo kit, and i can pick up a turbo from an Eagle Talon Tsi for pretty cheap, now im pretty sure i would need a different flange than the one say the sr turbo uses right? Also this turbo looks pretty small, will that be a problem?

If its a waste of time and money to get this turbo then let me know now, but if it can be a good starting point that would be good to know too.

What year Talon? 1g's had 14b's and 2g's had T25's. Neither are great, though the 14b is better. Both are very small and will be quite restrictive.Yes, you'll need a DSM flange.

Yeah you can use the dsm 450cc injectors on it there's a guy on here with a sohc turbo that used them. zerothread/251067 Ask him he'd help you out on the injectors part of it at least.

me too, injectors were pretty much drop in, just make sure you steal the resistor box too, pick up some new o-rings, and your set.Wiring is very simple, find the common positive(+) for the injectors, follow them back to around the tail end of the motor, and they all come together.chop it there, splice the middle wire on the injector box with it,and the other 4 wires with the 4 injectors, doesnt matter which, since they are controlled by the negative(-) wire...-PaulPS: make sure you do a proper wiring job...

good idea! resistor box is a little silver box that will be clipped onto the firewall and has a plastic plug on it after ~4" of 5 wires(1 white/4 black, or the other way around, cant remember)its not hard to find, trust me.-Paul

LOL, i just realized that you are "the guy" that used these injectors that zerepdivad was talking about, then you posted "me too," like you were some other guy that used the injectors.

whoops didnt check the link... Im one of many to use them so i didnt even think about it...-PaulPS: Good luck!EDIT: I dont remember if you have to swap out the pigtails for the injectors, but i swapped mine, since they had either been broken, or were full of corrosion beyond cleaning... and the ones on the dsm were mint...
