Quick Question About SR's

Ok this isnt a ? specifically about SR's.Its about boosted engine in general.So correct me if im wrong,which i prolly am.But so the hotpipe goes from the intake side of the turbo to the intercooler,then the intake manifold piping goes fron the manifold to the other side of the intercooler?And the b.o.v goes on a flange on the hotpipe?Please correct me if im wrong.thanks

Yep, that sounds right.

Some people prefer to put the BOV on the cold pipe (the piping from the intercooler to the throttle body). But most setups have it on the hotpipe.

Hotpipe goes from the turbo outlet side (not intake, the intake side goes to mafs/intake) to the intercooler, to the throttle body... bov can go on either the hotpipe or coldpipe..

i'm sure thats what he ment. it would be kinda hard to put a hotpipe on your intake....

if the hotpipe goes on the outlet,then what does the downpipe from?im guessing there are 2 exhaust parts on the turbo/manifold 1 for the hotpipe and 1 for the downpipe?then the inlet to the turbo gets taken by the manifold.PLEASE CORRECT ME.Cause im betting that im wrong.thanks a lot.

Downpipe goes from the turbo elbow to ur exhaust piping. That would be the back of the turbo.
