Hey, so I've had my redtop with a gt28 running with the stock ka24e maf for a few months now and would like to free up some of the restriction by installing the Q45 maf I have lying around. I know that a safc (which I also have lying around) is required to do this, but I am really not ready to mess with the fuel correction settings yet. So basically I was wondering if it would be ok to wire everything up and set everything to 0 with the exception of the maf in and out settings... Would this work.. If not, how should this be done?

All you have to do is wire it up and change the In/Out settings.

However, your really not going to notice the tiny hp gain you will get. I would just save that other maf until you go to turn up the boost, otherwise its kinda a waist.

Since you have the Q maf lying around tho, its w/e.

Yeah i know its not going to make much of a difference but i have already turned up the boost to 11psi and just thought it would be good if the motor could breath a little easier. anyway, I just wanted to make sure it was safe if i decide to do it
