everything went good when i started it up last night thanks to pulsar gtr. I then noticed that it wouldnt rev over 2200 rpms. So i figures something came loose on the maf itself or on my safc. Everything looked fine on both, I then pulled out the volt meter. The maf plug is getting 12v. My question is does that mean my maf is just bad, its a ka-e one. If someone could confirm this it would be helpful. thanks

Did you pulll the code from the ECU ?

Its seem like something MAF related ..

1 . check to see if the maf is getting voltage(12v).

2. if the signal sent from the maf is getting to the ECU (ohm the wiring or check for some voltage (0 to 5 volt)

3. Check the maf ground

it could be related to the CAS but ..youll need to get the error code from the ECU before checking these tricks ..could save you a lot of time. Always start to diagnose a problem with the error code your ecu is giving you

I cant tell you the pinout exactly but everything is in the FSM. Its a basic procedure for every electronic related problem.Tell us you progress on the problemGood luck
