Hi all,

I just recently got in a pair of philips 85122+ bulbs and they were stated as being brand new. But i'm curious as to if the blubs are supposed to come with these tiny black spots on them.

Dont know weather they are supposed to be there or does it just indicate that they have been used. Any response would be appreciated it since i do want to believe that these bulbs are BRAND NEW. Thanks again.

Those are absolutely normal for PHILIPS bulbs. Those are just the salt that that fallen down towards the return wire, they are authentic. If you had PHILIPS ultinon 6000k the salt would be a redish color

Ohs alright so then even with brand new philips bulbs they would also have these black spots? meaning it hasn't been used or anything correct?
