Quick question about gauge size

im looking into getting Autometer angle rings for a 52mm gauge which is 2 inches. but the angle rings are 2 1/16. are they supposed to be just 1/16 bigger or do i need a gauge thats 2 1/16? seems like a stupid question but i just dont know. thanks

52mm is 2 1/16, there are really only two sizes, 2 1/16(52mm) and 2 5/8(60mm IIRC)

i see, on glowshift it said there was a 2inch tach, and then it said 52mm. so i assumed 52mm was 2 inches. but i guess its 2 1/16. thanks so much
