Hi, i just bought my 98 i30 3 weeks ago and im loving every minute of it so far, im going to start tinking around with it so i was wondering a few things...

i was going to replace the full front fogs and cornering lamps on the bumper (1 is cracked and the others seemed faded) and i just wanted to confirm a couple of things before i went and bought new ones on ebay.

1- im guessing i gotta unscrew all that plastic protective plating under the engine/bumper to get access to those bulbs/screws that keep the lights in?

2-i saw on a chart saying that the corner lights were 1157's but why would they be double intensity if they only light up when cornering, wouldnt that be 1156? Also concerned about the fog lights themselves, are they h3s like the sylvania chart says?

3- I can't for the life of me take the stupid glove box light out, theres no space to grab on and pull on it to take it out, its burnt and i bought a led to replace it but i cant even take it out, whats the trick?

Welcome to NICO.

1. Remove the bolt holding the fog light in the bumper and pull the fog light out a bit. You should be able to access the bulb from the back of the housing.

2. Bulb chart http://www.moodym.com/maxima/t....htmlThe fogs are H3's.

3. Got me on that one.
