i have a 90 z32. i was wondering what's the difference from buying a full exhaust kit and making your own piping nd all just buying the mufflers?

just spend the money. You can always just settle for a catback.

Especially with a Z32, the flow rate is something to take into consideration. Too large, the gasses will flow slowly. Too small, the gasses will bottleneck. Either one of those situations will result in a lacking performance when compared to something like a Specialty Z exhaust or HKS Hiper system.

Also, do some SEARCHING in the Z32 section of the site. There have been many helpful threads about exhaust systems.

Is it a twin turbo? If not thats probably the very maximum I would run. Also just get some mufflers made for the dam car. I hate seeing hangers welded on that always break and always leak.
