quick question about brake pads

I was wondering if 97 Q45 brake pads will fit on 2000 Q45 brakes? Any help is appreciated.

Yes they should. Be sure they are OEM, not some 3rd party inferior formulation. Good to have a shim kit on hand also.

So are OEM the only ones to get... i seen a good deal online for some Ceramic pads, i think made by Thermo-something. I check at infinitiparts.com and OEM run around 50!

Well, the good thing about ceramic brake pads is that they generate a white brake dust insted of black dust. Your rims will be cleaner. The bad thing is that they tend to be noisier. My 86 944 Turbo had them and they squeeled all the time when cold. Not the sound you want from a luxury car like the Q. OEM is the safe bet.

just replaced o.e. sumitomo w/ hawk hps. WOW!!!!!!!
