i dont understand where the measurements are taken for these numbers? i would assume its the width of the rotor?

would using a 26mm caliper allow you to run a higher offset wheel if you have clearance issues? (this is what i really want to know)

thanks!

yes it is...however I am pretty sure that the outside width of the calipers is the same and the difference in size is made up inside the caliper. Meaning you can't fit an extra 4mm offset because you have 26mm calipers.

isnt the 26mm the diameter of each piston?

there is a difference in size on the 26mm calipers and the 30mm calipers... but its not huge

26mm do have more clearance.

The measurement signifies the width of the rotor, not the piston diameter.
