quick quaestion bout bolt ons

ok i know this is gonne sound really stupid hehe but hey its just a question when people say they put bolt ons in there cars what do they mean excatly??

I'm no expert, but my understanding is that people say they put "bolt on's" on the car, they generally mean aftermarket parts and upgrades that can be added without major modifications to the exterior if the powerplant -- i.e. CAI, new exhaust, etc.

Yup. Bolts ons are just that. Parts that just bolt on.

No tuning or tweaking needed type stuff. Or in depth work to install.

Bolt-ons are like CAI, short ram, headers, cats, exhaust, wheels, head/tail lights, etc.

Things like the Plenum Spacers, cams, turbos, blowers, injectors, ecu flashes, MSD ignitions, etc arn't really bolt-ons. They take quite alot of work to get installed.
