Quick POP Charger Install Question

So I just finished installing a pop charger on my Z, and then I came across Robo's site on intake positioning.

Here it is if you don't know what I'm talking about:

As you can see from his pictures, he advocates lining up the edge of the cone with the edge of the splash guard. Well, when I installed mine, I positioned it in with the cone hanging a little lower than the edge of the splash guard, like this:

Do you guys think I'll run into any issues with it positioned like that? I took my car for a test drive, and it didn't stall or do anything out of the ordinary.

What do you guys think?

some times you might experience stalling or hesitation due to turbulence, but most guy running dual pop have their filters a little low like your diagram. the bigger issue is the filter will get wet easier. you might run into problems at high speeds, but i think you will be fine it not that off. each car is a little different.
