I wasn't insinuating it was a Ferrari or a "Lambo" .. lots of people winterize all different kinds of cars.

This car has very little traction control in the winter, though, and has a light back-end, which may take a little more work if someone were to drive it in the snowy months. It's also slightly lower to the ground than most other vehicles, so roads could be tricky.

Mysxisslowerthanurs is sooooo CUTE

I'm just curious.
Oh i know.. but the best solution i found out for the z to get through the snow is take Traction Control OFF!! TCS does help you out if you dont know how to control your car, I just hate taking off from dead stop when TCS is on because it just take to much time to get up to speed.. enough of me Blabbing.. Thats just My Opinion

You are shooting blank bullets. Fact, merely.

Fact are always true.

I am going to lead by example how to be constructive with this kind of information.

The truth lies in the tires and the weight on the tires. You used the example of lambo.. assuming that it's a rear engine rear wheel drive. You compared to a hummer 2, let's say for this case a rwd only front engine SUV. Yes. The lambo CAN do better in the snow.

However, lambos usually are equipped with a performance tire and it's width make it more difficult to grip. And as soon as you AWD the hummer, it whips the lambo everytime. Therefore kills your "fact".

So..the correct statement is..

Given the conditions of a rear engine, rwd lambo CAN perform better in the snow than a rwd hummer.

...

Now.. lets take two 350z... put a lot of weight in one's rear, and the other stock. The one with weight will take off sooner.

The FACT is when you put more weight on the drive wheels it drives better when the roads become slick.

Which also leads the more weight the harder to stop.

My Z has never seen snow, hardly ever sees rain for that matter. Only comes out on dry days in the winter when there isn't any sand or salt on the roads. My other car is a maxima.

Not too much winter to speak of in NC, but i have all seasons on the Z for the nasty rainy/slick days, and a 240sx for the snowy ones, but if it's more than an inch or two, I'm stuck!

every time i visit the Z33 forum, richie is always saying something stupid and humorous.

to the guy with the fast and furious car, i would personally at least fill those massive fenders with some seriously massive wheels if i had to run that kit.
