I got a very good deal on a z1 stage 3 ecu for my N/A. I live in upstate new york so no emissions. The ecu is tuned for California, will this greatly effect the performance compared to one that is tuned the same but non-california? Thanks

A stage 3 ECU won't do anything but make your car suck down loads of fuel if you don't have basic stage 3 mods.

It's honestly not going to be a whole lot on an N/A, though it will be noticable. If you can get it cheap, go for it. If all else fails and you decide it wasn't worth it, turn around and sell it for profit.

When I bought my Z, it had a JWT ECU, pop charger and exhaust. The car was very quick. I had a guy with a TT riding with me and he even commented on how quick it was for an NA. Was it really faster than any other NA? Yes, it was. But, the cost of those mods were around $2k and I don't think it would be worth it if I had to pay for it.
