yes I know its been discussed and yes I searched (btw Im getting really ****ing sick of always having to give that disclaimer)

Most of the discriptions say you have to loop the lines togather and fill it full of fluid after you remove the pump, my question is how? Can I just unscrew one of the lines that goes into the pump and screw it back into the other port on the rack, is it that simple? And how exactly do you get the fluid in there without trapping a ton of air in too? Or does that not really hurt anything? thanks

You shouldnt need to worry about trapping air in the system. It self bleeds air out as it turns. In fact, after you replace the pump and fill it, start the car and turn the wheel from lock to lock a few times and watch the bubbles come out. Keep doing this till you dont need to add fluid and you should be good!

ok thanks, what about the looping the lines part? Do I just unscrew one of the lines from the pump and screw it back into the rack to make the loop?
