I came across this Z and i thought it was pretty slick and clean. I was thinking of maybe doing someting similar. What do you guys think? Since it's vinyl, I can always remove it if it's too ricey.

The stripe is alright. The huge "Z" kills it though.

i don't like it personally, but it's all about what you like and want your car to look like.

You guys gotta own a Z to understand the "Z" i swear every where you look on the dam thing that Z is every where.

Even when you look in the rear view mirror you can see the strut bar reflecting in the back hatch window and you can still see that Z reflecting back up at you.

I think it was a joke at nissan to see how many times they can put a Z on the car.

a sales person at nissan told me the 2007 350z has the letter Z on it 14 times- even in the door jambs up by the hinges

Nismo MAYBE or SE-R MAYBE... definitely not N. My opinion is if you get the vinyl dont put any words/letters our car isn't really known for its name/model other than the fact that its a coupe.

You could put on NICO!!!!

...or not. No hating on NICO, I just think letters or words would look kinda dumb. But it's an interesting idea that matches up to the bends in the hood metal - kinda like a personal racing stripe for the coupe.

I think it's not bad. The A/C doesn't have as prominant of a indentation in the hood for the vinyl stripe to trace as the Z does, but if you like it, get it. I personally would probably not.

The replies in the original thread seem to make me believe the vinyl might not hold up well to the heat from the engine. Possible peeling or discoloration would suck. Hopefully that's not a problem.

I know ALL ABOUT vinyl... Theres different grades, qualities and it gets VERY confusing, especially bc the end user doesnt usually know what they are getting... A piece of vinyl that size could cost $1 or it could cost $30.

JUST WAIT TILL IM BACK FROM CALI!
