quick need some advice for my dads car

hey guys my dad has a 1996 200SX SE-R, and im thinking (as i didnt get him an xmas gift) that i will get him a short shifter for it, now i cant spend like 200$ on a stillen one but what is a good, low priced (or mid priced) short shifter? they have some on ebay for like 10$ but i think this is one of tho things "u get what u pay for" so what do you think i should get? send links please!!!

Your best bet for a budget short shifter is ebay. Go to the sellers feedback and search through the responses. Find guys that have bought short shifters and see what they say.

he has a K&N intake, stillen exhaust its lowered and he has headers, and some other small stuff, he wants to go with the JDM sr20 swap as his SR has alot of miles but i dont have the money to get a clip for him, so i thought i might as well get him a short shifter :) im still looking around i have time to get him one... :)

You dont need a clip for the NA SR20.

theyre cheap as hell. Get it through soko, only 350 plus shipping, and shipping isnt bad. 50 bux from cali to salt lake.

now if he wants to go DET...

yeah he wanted the DET :) he says when this motor goes he will get the DET and put it in, then that car will be fun :)

Get him some motor mounts. Youcan still use them if he swaps. I think JWT has them.
