How do test the mafs to see if it is good or not? I got it out of a junkyard.

Hook it up, get something than can log voltage and run it..There isn't any 'easy' way to test these things..

Alright, I'll have to chip my ecu before I can test it. Everything is still stock. Thanks for the reply.

Hook it up to your battery with some spare wire. Connect multimeter to ground and the signal wire... blow into it. See if there's a change in voltage and what it reads. Ask the Maxima guys for voltage spec from the FSM.

It's going good. I got the IC mounted and got the walbro 255 fuel pump put in yesterday. Tomorrow I'll be putting the battery in the trunk. Then try to figure out the IC piping.

Ok, thanks. So run one wire from the battery to 12v on mafs. Then the black probe from the muiltmeter to ground (which ground the ecu ground or the chassis ground? Last the red probe from muiltimeter to the signal wire on mafs.

Chassis ground and ecu ground go to the same place. I'd use the chassis ground since it's eaiser.

Not exactly.

You are going to use three wires from the MAFS.

+12v Power: Run this to the battery +Ground: Run this to the battery groundSignal: Connect this to the + wire on the multimeter

Lastly, connect the ground wire from the multimeter to the battery ground, or anywhere on the chassis if the battery is still in the car.

Get a buddy to help hold the wires in place.
