no... not all miatas came with lsd. lsd was only an option, and you cant trust the 2 wheel burnout, i have open diff and i can still do the 2 wheel burnout.

if you drop it and burn the tires, one tire SHOULD burn more then the other, the other will spin somewhat but won't be near as noticeable as the other one.

did your really have to start 2 threads on this? The answere was in your other thread before you had to make this one to prove them wrong...

As we said in the other thread a torsen differential is compleatly different then other kinds of LSD, and will act as an open diff when there is little or no traction....

Or... slam on the breaks... if you have Antilocks, you have an LSD...OR you could post in 240 Gen...

Torsen/Helical differentials act like open differentials until there is a difference in torque allocation. They prevent excessive torque allocation to a low traction wheel, peg leg drive, by using worm gears to limit the amount of torque alotted to one wheel based on the traction of the other wheel.

VLSDs act like open differentials until there is sufficient torque allocation difference. Locking pressure is created when the torque difference in the axles creates enough friction to expand the silicone in the diffential oil, pushing the pressure plates together

Clutch type LSDs act as a spooled or welded differential until there is sufficient torque to "break away" the pressure plates.
