quick lifter question

on the ka are lifters hydrolic or solid??im sure there solid but just curious

okay on that note my car is making a ticking sound cant determine what it is but i think either injectors or lifters?? what are your thoughts?

im pretty sure that the 91-98 are solid and the 89-90 are hydralic

yup the sohc ka's use hydraulic lifters as the dohc ka's use solid lifters.

And actually DOHC KA's are a shim and bucket type valvetrain. So its not really a lifter.

but its still classified as a lifterthere are hydrolic bucket lifters
