I have an oil leak coming from a sensor which is located right next to the oil filter. The sensor disconnects from the fitting (I guess you could call it that) which is screwed to the piece where the oil filter is screwed onto. It's on the side of where the oil filter screws onto. The fitting that's screwed there which is part of that sensor is what's leaking. Now, I have no idea what sensor that is, I thought it might be the oil pressure sensor. I just need the name of it so i can order it and replace it asap. Also, if any of you might know what could cause that sensor to leak, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

I think it is called an oil pressure switch, or oil pressure sending unit.
