Quick interior question

Well first off I would like to say hello to everyone here since I am new! I just purchased a 89 240sx about a week ago and started working on doing some stuff to it already. My question is, what is suppose to be here (picture is attached). Also, I know that Nissan fixes the seat belts since they have lifetime warranty,but will they fix mine? Mine are able to be moved back and forth by your hand, and it doesn't sound like the motor ever runs when I open/close the door. I also included a picture of what the seat belt condition looks like. I haven't had time yet to go over there and talk to them.

There is supposed to be a removabel ash tray there. Also seatbelts are warrenty, I believe you have to call Nissan to make the claim (1800 NISSAN 1) the number is I think.

yup remvoable ashtray supposed to be there. you'll have to call nissan NA(north america) go to your local nissan dealership they have to fix it. its mandatory. dont let them give you some 10 yr warranty its a lie. its the lifetime of the vehicle. my driver side stopped working and i took it the dealrship and they fie=xed it for 100% free

Sounds good, I wasn't sure if there was anything that they don't have to fix. Like if I broke it myself or along those lines. Not saying that I did, but I'm not sure how the previous owner broke it, or if they just stopped working.

They will not fix it if it's been tampered with, removed, etc.

I would make sure it does not look like you were f*** with it when you bring it in

Do you really like autoseat belts? IF not Then swap them out for Manual S14(needs a small bracket, really easy to make) or 200sx seatbelts.

I am pretty sure this is part of the reason they don't make them anymore.

You do have an 1989 owners manual right? Because you can show them in there were it says it.
