ok, after some experimenting I've figured out a way to convert ANY s13 tach into a compatible tach for use on rb swaps.this is not the "turn the pot all the way around till it kinda reads right mod" but is an actual hardware modification which when i tested it against my own setup was accurate to 7k.now the question would be who would be interested in this conversion and how much would you be willing to pay?i know that ls auto offers the same service but at 100$ + shipping that seems a bit steep to me...not in this to make money but im also not in this to give away something that other shops will freeload off of...so post up your thoughts.

Yup, count me in. I have a HUD cluster too but I don't see why it would make a differnece. The only difference I saw between HUD and non HUD tachs was the size of the face. I could be wrong but, mechanically I think both tachs are the same.

DOOOO EEEEEEEEET CARL!!

s14 tachs can be calibrated with ease, they use the same control boards as the infinit j30 so some tweaking of the pot you can get it spot on...s13's however well much harder.

I could throw you some cash and a few S13 tachs. I've got alot of RB business in this town believe it or not. A few RB20/25's are rising up.

No doubt. So all you need is that cluster itself no other supporting parts at all?

I had Carl modify my S13 tach from my HUD cluster.... works great with my RB25!!

Just send him the tach part of the cluster. It is definitely worth it!

Will be getting with you soon Carl. I'm getting my RB20 hatch ready to sell and I'll be leaving the skyline tach in it. So, I'll deinitely be needing this for the 25.

Oh, btw, thanks for the Nismo FPR. Works great.
