It all depends on the details of the mechanical inspection, be sure to get it inspected at a garage of YOUR choosing and talk to the mechanic, let him know that you want a detailed inspection including road test since you're a little nervous about buying it. You can talk to the seller all you want but what is most important is the a) mechanical inspection b) all the service records/receipts - go over these in detail and make sure he didn't miss or over-extend oil changes. If he doesn't have records, this is a definite negative because impacts of skipping oil changes may not show up when inspected, you really need to have the maintenance documentation.
Good luck, this sounds like a really good deal, but since it has over 100k km I wouldn't say it's an amazing deal, but still good and I wouldn't worry about the mileage. The good thing about higher mileage in a relatively new vehicle is that you know it's almost all highway - vs an older vehicle with low miles where it's mostly city. Remember, low miles isn't automatically a good thing, so don't worry about it in this case!!!
