As far as a fuel filter what are ya all running? Z32 N/A or are there other options

i run a stock filter so i don't have the answer you're looking for, but while we're on the subject. whats the purpose of going with a different filter? more flow? longer life? better filtering?

yeah i'm wondering the same thing cause i have a walbro 255 lph pump... is it necessary to upgrade to a different filter? z32 seems to be the most popular... but i was just not sure if i needed to upgrade or not. i figured i was in the clear since my friends turbo civic del sol uses a walbro 255 pump and a 12:1 fmu boosting 10 psi reliably for a long time now, and he hasn't upgraded anything else in the fuel system... but i know the cars are different, so is upgrading the filter a neccessity?

No...people look at the Z32 filter as an "upgrade" or a "mod" b/c so many people have done it...bt it's only b/c it's bigger (must be better, right?), and $2 cheaper from Nissan.

Stock is fine, Z32 is just as good. Really makes NO difference...

Well I kinda wondered because my friends car had a clogged fuel filter (its a civic I know ghay) but that caused his fuel pump to fail and his car only has 75,xxx miles on it, I was thinking that It really wouldn't matter but since my car is at about 80,xxx It would be a good Idea to get a new one, and kinda thought that a Bigger one would have less of a chance of clogging up, More filter area- don't know if this makes sence or not, not really for more flow.
