I just ordered my CA motor set and would like to know which FMIC to get Iam on a tight budget soo nothin like the greddy v-spl, Ive been told that with a stock turbo CA you need the s13 hot pipe but the s14 cold pipe? I realize that this is a low grade e-bay kit http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem but will that work with a s14 cold pipe? or what are some of your suggestions? also with all front mounts do you have to remove the bumber support? thanks -Jake

p.s. or should I just try to win the auction for a ca " specific " kit from SSAutoCrap which I was told needs to be modified also

I hear that the SSAC FMIC kit is actually very good. I myself use a couple steel bends and stock eblows hotpipe, an ARC Super SMIC and a custom aluminum 2.5" cold pipe. All told, not including BOV, it has run about $500.

there is a ARC SMIC for sale on ebay. would it be cheaper and better to purchase that then have a cold pipe made, Also i already have all the brackets and stock piping that bolts onto the factory sr smic so all i would need is a hot and cold pipe right? Also are these coolers good enough to use on lets say a gti-r turbo at about 10-14 psi? thanks again everyone

Well, the M070 (ARC SMIC part #) is rated to 300wps on an SR. Do the math No pressure drop, cheap entry price. Plus, ARC is one of the highest levels of JDM Bling

A few things: You will need custom piping. An SR hotpipe with a sidemount is too long, and will hit the coldpipe. So figure that into the equation. Don't forget that you will also have to get couplings and clamps if you build your own kit.
